Orangecrest Country Board Proposes New Rule for Portable Basketball Hoops

By August 19, 2024No Comments

Exciting news for sports enthusiasts in the Orangecrest Country community: a proposed rule revision could soon allow homeowners to keep their portable basketball hoops out in driveways when not in use, provided the equipment is in good condition.

Currently, homeowners are required to store their basketball hoops away when not in use, which has been a point of contention for many who enjoy the convenience of having their hoops readily available. The new rule aims to balance the needs of basketball lovers with the community’s aesthetic and safety concerns.

The proposed revision is now open for homeowner feedback. The Orangecrest Country Board of Directors will review all comments during their upcoming meeting on September 17th. Homeowners are encouraged to share their views either through written comments or by attending the meeting in person. During the meeting, there will be a designated homeowner’s forum where community members can voice their opinions directly to the board.

This is a great opportunity for residents to influence community policy and ensure that their voices are heard. For more details on how to submit comments or attend the meeting, please visit the Resident Portal or email your comments to management to be provided to the Board.
