From time to time, an update is needed to community governing documents to keep up with changes in local and state law and occasionally due to repeated member requests. Your Board has been working hard to update the Architectural Guidelines and to date has put at least 99 person-hours into the process. You might say governing documents are a bit like people: no one is perfect and there is always something that can be changed to make it a little better. In that spirit, and thanks to the feedback of a few homeowners, the Orangecrest Country Board is in the middle of one more round of updates to the recently published proposed updated Architectural Guidelines. Most certainly a couple of items that will be “tweaked” are the proposed height limitations for play equipment and there will be a more thorough section regarding ADUs and JADUs. We hope you will continue this journey with us and take time for thoughtful review of the draft that was recently sent to you and continue to send in comments. A new draft will likely be released after the May 17th Board meeting, so be on the lookout for that. Thank you for taking an active interest in your community!
